APHS strives to create a challenging, safe, and supportive learning environment. We empower students aged 16-21 to take control of their education and future. APHS students are valued individuals with unique, personal and academic needs. Our school supports students through a balance of traditional and innovative programs along with strategies to help them develop their strengths and self-esteem. APHS students are exposed to a variety of post-secondary opportunities through the school’s network of local and state learning institutions.

Students work closely with their mentors and teachers to complete a rigorous senior portfolio. In order to graduate, seniors must apply to 5 schools, visit 3, and write a series of reflective papers to ensure they are ready to transition to life after Pantoja.
Pantoja also has several partnerships and opportunities with other organizations. Through the FEJA program, selected students can learn how to install solar paneling; many of our graduates have found jobs after completing this program.
